The blue is shorter/softer, most likely the result of lower WOT psi. When I push an HG, I'll put in an aft psi, find a use for that Glow shift sooner or later. Too much of a PITA to mess with clipping coils just for R&D.

BOTTOMLINE: Gillette springs do make 90+ psi, but being it was in for 2 yrs as a DD, the myth of it being destructive is BUSTED.

Thanks for playing along, folks!

I knew it wouldn't damage anything, there's just no need right? I'd imagine extra strain on the fuel pump too, but can't confirm that.

My vegistroke runs 75-80psi to combat the fuel pressure coming from the other side. I run that pressure all the time. I remember reading about some of the heavy hitters in the 6.0 world right when performance was coming about for them, running progressive controllers for their pumps that would ramp pressure up as they got on the throttle, one guy in particular used to use a boost referenced pump that would push up near 100psi. It's just not needed is all. I guess we can't really say it's a "bad" thing either though... I'd rather have more fuel pressure than not enough... fo sho.

Thanks for sharing man!
