The add-a-leaf did NOT make my rig ride stiffer. In fact, with the OEM shocks, the add-a-leaf took out some of the spongy feel it had. The Rough Country nitrogen shocks I added later made it pretty stiff. They're called Rough Country for a reason...

You have to pay attention to the shocks and springs when putting together a lift, that's why it's called a suspension system. Either way, it's a 7000 pound truck with a lift, it's going to ride stiff!

Default 6.0 power stroke

So 3 years ago I bought a 6 liter f-350 Everyone said the ford would last longer then a dodge? the truck had 9k miles so almost new,and still paid a ton and still paying. Well it has left me stranded yet again 5th time to be exact, Now just out of warranty now a 4300.00 transmisson with 125k hiway miles... durring this trip i am bbbstuck in motel with two dogs and a fifteen year old. Every time this truck brakes down I ask the mecanics whats next= theys have said twice there is a long list even with the new ford 6.4 who knows on the .7 THIS is my advise to anyone who owns a ford 6.0 or wants one get out now run for the hills take your losses. come on a tranny now shoulkd a tranny that had proper servec 36k and 80k last longer then 125k? I am so much into this truck and no one will give even a low blue trade in for it and told at ford they arent worth crap. Buy the cummins guys it cant be worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:b at:

You could always start your own thread to vent. Also you really only need to post it on one spot. No one needs to read this over and over. I understand you're probably just venting because you're upset with what is happening, but every truck on the road will have problems at one point or another.

Why don't you give us a little info about the truck, how it's used, what mods are on it, and maybe you can upgrade some stuff or avoid issues later down the road.

Default 6.0

Ok Yea I was just venting, But just last month I had to replace the egr cooler and oil cooler cause that dropped the second time since I had the truck. If any of you guys done it you know they made that an easy fix, haha... cam senser before that, high pressure oiler, computer control,,, list goes on. Just on and on. The guys at ford told me no mods cause that causes more problems with the 6.0. so No chip on it... This truck is not used to any extreames Pulled my boat a few times, Travel trailer a few times maybe 10k total on both. Well If I was to add it all up around 50k for a rig come on. I owe 7k the guy at ford today told me maybe 12k trade after I put in the trans and he willing to put me in a fine new one for 43k yea right. All right sorry for venting you guys helped me with the cooler last month so I ended up here too vent. Good luck strokers Think I will go back to gas when the right rig comes up. What happened to those 7.3's or old cummins with 4-500k on them, Bet all this emmissions has something to do with it?

My kidneys may hurt, but at least parts are cheap and its alot more reliable. And honestly, do you really believe that anything with IFS can be heavy duty, theres not such a thing.
100 Ton mining Trucks have hydraulic IFS, how much you wanna spend
