My truck seems to have a very stiff suspention..Later on I would like to upgrade it to something better.I would just like to get some Ideas to start looking at.The truck is an 04 6.0l F-250 superduty 4x4 crewcab shortbed.:humm:

I have been dreaming of fab-tech 4.0 coil overs but dont have the 5k to setv it up :argh:

Just ride in my truck for a few days , then yours will feel like a caddy.

lol...I was told about the coil over, but I was also told about adding a leaf to the springs would help and it would be cheaper...Me I dont know much about this.Well maybe the cheapest way would be just to ride in 04redstroker's truck..LOL:tu:

An add a leave will make it stiffer. I personally dont think the coil over kits are worth the money. Something as simple as a good set of shocks and maybe even air bags will make a big difference in ride quality.

It rides like 04redstrokers kidney belt required!! I found a product that might help though:c: Pickup & Medium Duty <----- click link

thats cool..

they sale a leveling kit..What does this do for the ride if anything?

04redstroker 02-11-2010 06:42 PM

Depends on the style of the kit. If its adn add-a-leaf then it will stiffer. A spring with more arch will be stiffer. If its a shackle flip kit the ride will be about the same.
