SCT hands down is the best programmer for the 6.0

I went with the SCT , tunes from Innovative, and here's what I figured out to do as far as mounting . I reworked the windshield mount a little. Only problem using it for gauges is you have to restart them everytime you restart the truck. Also you can't really organize them on the screen just anyway you want. Perhaps if I contacted SCT they may be able to tell me if I can change these minor inconviences.

I knew the SCT crowd would jump all over this, but I like the Bully Dog Pmt. Has the info displayed so no need for gauges. Gives me pretty good power and fuel mileage. And looks pretty good in the pedestal mount. I like the ease of install, internet updates, and IMHO real good customer support.
OK let the hate mail begin,

Bullydog isn't even a true tuner. Just kind of fools the computer into doing funny things and doesn't tune the transmission like you can with the SCT, as it accesses the TCM.

You do NOT want on the fly power changing with a 6.0. You up the power while driving down the road and the transmission doesn't change at all... so now you've just went from stock power to extreme and your tranny is still in stock settings...

I'm also a fan of separate gauges. The gauge pods like the banks, bullydog and edge all read settings off of the ODBII port, and you're just basically copying the factory gauges. Some of the factory gauges are known to be off, if you're spending the money might as well get stand-alone gauges. JMO.
