Default Current fuel pump wisdom

I have 03 with light mods( see sig), have been using airdog II, but second pump went last night. I have over 205,000 miles, fanatical maintenance and all original stock oil cooler, egr and injectors. ( unplugged valve;-) ). What is current wisdom on fuel pumps, which works for a lot of miles? Do I need to carry a spare adII????. . . Use ad to feed stock pump? Use fuelab to feed ad? My mods have been aimed at safely increasing power while maintaining durability. I need to know my truck will get me wherever I want to go, across town or across the country. Would appreciate feedback. I had a lot of setbacks this past year but this year I'm hoping to mod a little more with studs and a SCT programmer.

Get away from the ADII stuff. I've been using an AirDog 100 sumped to the HFCM for years with no issues. Another buddy runs the AirDog 150 sumped feeding the HFCM as well. I know it's more money to spend so it's really up to the pocket book. I'd get with AD about some sort of credit towards another setup. Otherwise make them keep replacing the pumps.

I'm wondering if the pressure could be lowered on pump I have and use it to feed stock pump? I'm getting with airdog to see if that's possible and best routing of returns. I will also see if I can get airdog to exchange pump for a 100 or 150.
