Default SCT performance test accuracy?

Hey guys,

All I have done to my truck so far is put in the SCT livewire. Since the truck is my "haul stuff" vehicle not a drag truck I haven't actually taken it to a drag strip, so just for giggles I did the performance test on the SCT with the stock tune in place, and then re-programed with the canned street tune. There was enough improvement for me to wonder if the livewire cheats when measuring performance when there is a canned tune installed in the pcm. I don't really believe this, but the amount of improvement was surprising to me.
