Died on the freeway won't restart.
Ok 2005 f350 6.0 mods
155cc inj
Swamps 58v ficm 40 hp tune
port matched everything
FCD egr delete
Long y pipe
Powermax
Sct tuner currently on light tune
That's it as far as performance stuff rest is all to make sure do not have any problems.
Truck died running up a mountain 1000 egr around 60 mph. Turbo chugged as the hpop went to zero on the gauge. Only code was a 2285. Stripped down to hpop. Ipr has a little crack in the screen and some chunks of maybe a non metallic metal and or plastic stuck to it. Wont start. My hpop gauge is saying no pressure. It connects to the icp sensor. Do I need to replace the ipr or can I just put it back in and try to restart the truck? Stc fitting has been installed. Last week a used bottom end was put in with my new top end took the bottom end apart and it all looked good. Hpop seemed ok when I took it out other than the bolts that held the hpop in where loose one barely finger tight that one on the low pressure inlet side. The hi pressure out was tight. The truck ran perfect right up untill the point it shut off. I do not have access to an ipr screen and the nearest ford dealer is 100 miles away. I only have my hand tools good multi meter and my sct programmer to read codes.

Yeah that was egt of 1000 and I just took the hpop out twenty minutes ago. Sorry for that.

Ok so after rather carefully inspection of the ipr there is debris around the little plunger piston in there yes I see the need for the screen. I see why I need to replace the ipr and not just clean it up. Although I will be energizing it first thing in the morning and Will see if it works if so I just need a new screen. If not the whole ipr. Anybody have one they would sell me so I can get back on the road would send a PayPal for the ipr and for overnighting it to me. Or better still anyone near wendover Utah/Nevada who can bring it to me? I will pay for gas

Here is my phone number if any one has an ipr feel free to call. Today's Christmas festivities include but not limited to finding a gas station for some food. Sitting in the back of truck waiting for some parts. 5707644793 that's my cell.

I like the cummins but not a fan of the small cabs. Soon enough the fords will be sporting a cummins and then I will be hunting for a used one of those. Instead of fixing this 6.0 I should have swapped in a cummins.

Call the Napa in Wells. They are 60 miles west of you(775-752-3331) or the Ford dealer in Elko 100 miles west of you(775-738-3147). Because of the mines they usually have good stock. I work out of Wells alot the Napa there is good.
