How to bypass hpop
I'm looking at putting an airdog on my truck and thinking about bypassing the hpop, how would I go about doing this. My future plans are single shot injectors, bigger turbo, water meth injection, I'm still wanting to use this as a daily driver and also pull tractors and gravity wagons on the farm, but I'm also wanting to do some sled pulls and drag races locally, as we're trying to get the local drag strip opened back up.

An airdog 2 will get you the fuel pressure you need to get rid of the frame mounted fuel pumpp but nothing is going to bypass the hpop (high pressure oil pump). The hpop has nothing to do with fuel pressure as far as pumping fuel goes. It controlles the high pressure oil needed to inject fuel into the cylinder.

Im not sue what you mean Karls03. The HPOP does not have anything to do with the fuel pressure untill the fuel reaches the actual injector. The fuel up to the injector is at MIN 45psi and can range all the way up to about 70psi. The HPOP is what creates the high pressure fuel that is injected into the cylinder. The 6.0L is not a common rail setup unlike the 6.4L and CR Cummins engines. Their is no high pressure fuel pump on a 6.0L. The Airdog 2 is plenty for a 6.0L. Although a more cost efective way IMO is to use an Airmotive A1000 and a home made fuel filter setup.
Disclaimer: I personally run a Airdog 100 and the stock pump along with the updated "blue spring" upgrade from ford and have no problem with that setup. My main reason for this setup is i wanted more filtration and had the AD100 on hand already.
