Default looking to do a turbo mod

ok so i already have straight 3'' exhaust and turned up the pump just a bit. This week I am going to be ordering my gauges (egt, boost, fuel pressure?) and the denny t fuel pin and 366 spring.im thinking that now this is going to be alot of fuel and still on the stock h1c turbo. What would be you guys opinion on my next mod?was thinking maybe like a 14cm w/g housing or something?or maybe another turbo all together. My buddy has a hx40 i could get,but i think that if i got that i would need more fuel then...

what do you guys suggest?

1.smaller housing for my stock turbo

2.hx40

3.hx35?

4.any thing else?haha

thanks for the help.

you can pick up an hx35 for cheap and install the 60mm wheel housing then you basically have an hx35/40 hybrid.

once you buy the turbo and housing your going to be near on $500. I bought my he351 for $300. I think either way would be good.

With the 351 you have to change your oil supply line and the studs on your exhaust manifold and you have to have the 351 adapter on the exhaust housing to weld into a 4in down pipe.

here is my incomplete list

H1C 50 or 54/60/18 or 21
HX35/WH1C 56/58/12 52-60 lbs/min
HX35/40 60/58/12 in between these two
HX40 60/65/16 60-71 lbs/min
HX50 63/71/19??? 67/78
HX52
HX60
Super B 57/65/14
Killer B 63/65/14
Super B special 64/71/14
63/68/14 custom made
HE351 60/60/9
HE351VE 62/65/4-26? variable
HE341 54/58/9
3000 59/65/14 non gated 65 lbs/min
4000 63/70/14 non gated 75 lbs/min
5000 71/74/14 non gated 95 lbs/min

the aftermarket housing for the h1c would make it VERY comparable to a hx35 which is capable of around 350-400 HP you could prolly get the h1c in the 300's... you will be so much happier with a smaller gated housing, much more responsive.

ok so do you think if i get a smaller wastegated exhaust housing it woult be enough to keep me happy for a while?this seems like the cheaper route to go.

also, i plan on doing the dennyt, gov spring, turbo mod(undecided), and shortly also will be doing some injectors(thinking around 100hp set). With my truck being non-ic do you think egts will be to high?

I am in the process of getting my gauges, but im not sure how much a set of injectors will raise the egts and it wont be worth me buying them if i cant even run them.

without doing something with your stock turbo injectors are really not needed. and a set of 5x12's wont raise your egts very much from stock. they will if you never get out of the throttle but just DDing they are perfect. 5x12's are 90HP or so they all say...

i wouldstay with stock injectors on a whatever year stock turbo you choose. if you decide to go into a s300 frame turbo or similair then injectors will be on you list of things to do.

so if i go with a turbo mod, it wouldnt really benefit much to go with a set of injectors?
