Default dodgezilla?

So guys its time to upgrade my baby h1c , my rig is a 1991 non i/c 5speed. I have maxed my pump, rotated my fuel cone and all that good stuff. Every thing else is bone stock

Im thinking about going with the dodgezilla hx35/40 from DieselAutoPower.com

Dodgezilla Hybrid Turbo

i think the 12cm non-wastegated exhaust housing would be the best for my application sense i don't pull any thing more than 7000lbs, what do you think??

Is this a bolt on turbo? Will the stock exhaust work ( will upgrade later), do i need a boot that goes from new turbo to stock non i/c crossover tube? if so where do I buy a that boot?

Will the turbo oil line work?

That's not really that big of a turbo. You Could definitely get a better turbo for the money. Look into an s300

A hybrid 35/40 is a 60/58/12 which is far from large. You will have lots of surge which is already bad for the 35's small shaft plus the added drive pressures you will gain from not having a gate will make for a little turbo that won't last long at all. If you want a better stock replacement turbo look into a s300g which is a super b or a s362. Also you could run a 16cm housing on your h1c and get away without a gate, or you could put a 12cm housing off an hx35 on your turbo and make a 54/60/12.

Yes an s300g is kinda it's own animal. It has a more restrictive compressed cover. The g is pretty much the g not much modding you can do to make it bigger down the road. It is a 57 mm and can be made to a 62. I currently run a g, with nothin bad to say other than you cant make really big hp numbers with it. It is a great towing turbo though. All that is needed to put any s300 on your truck will be a hx40 downpipe

Do u guys think that a 62/65/12 s300 is to big for stock injectors? Will that make it lag?

a 62/65/12 or 14 is a great turbo for a mild built truck or just a stock replacement. the non i/c engines had slightly larger injectors anyways. i wouldnt worry about lag or performance issues with the turbo you listed.
