Default I wanna go fast

Hey guys! this is my 1st post ever! i need your guys expert opinions on a couple things.

I have a 1991 non i/c 4x4 truck with the getrag 5speed, 4in lift with 35in muddys and 4:10s, i have my pump turned up almost to runaway, my fuel cone turned, and my smoke screw turned in two turns, and the AFC Star Wheel Adjustment turned in, and a couple 2in holes in my air box.

After i did all the adjustment to my pump the truck pulls way harder than it did, i live in the high sierras of northern California and i rarely have to down shift because of a hill, and there is some pretty steep grades. I was happy with the pump tuning for a while but now i need more.

I want to upgrade my turbo my baby H1C has a lil more shaft play than i am comfortable running, i rarely tow anything heavier than a fish boat and a couple dirtbikes. So i want to make my 12v bad lil hotrod. I already have my pyro and boost gauges.

So i don't know what turbo to run, i want to make more boost than the H1c but how much boost is ok before i have to start worrying about head gaskets? Or is it ok to just re torque my head bolts?

Im thinking about ordering the dennyt stage II pin and a 366 spring.

i understand that the non i/c rigs have bigger injectors than intercooled, but are they big enough after i upgrade my turbo??

Let me know what u guys would do please!!!

I would see if you could do a swap to an hx35 off of a second gen cummins. That might supply the power and boost levels you are looking for.

I can walk you through 300-900rwhp, depend on money and what you're willing to deal with (water-meth, nitrous, etc). Big Power is 5-6K with bottle, everything else will be cheaper.

non intercooled injectors will fuel way more than an HX35 can cool, an HX35 is not much of an upgrade unless it's free.

Yeah good luck spooling that on stock non ic injectors.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

A Intercooler will be a BIG help as well as keep her running cooler. Also if you havn't do a timing bump you will like that and a smaller exh housing like a wg 14 or non wg 16cm.

You got some videos of this beast of yours? I wanna see some proof! Not that I don't believe you, I just think proof would be fun!
