Default SOLDIER ON A BUDGET!!!!!!!

ok yall here we go. I have a 1991.5 ctd 4x4 flat bad. the truck is in about 8 of 10 shape over all, its a great truck. now it has a new lift on it and tires are not a issue at the moment they will come about 8 months down the road along with a new tranny when needed. this is my 4th first gen ive owned but ive only put a fuel pin in them. now im deployed and im coming home for RNR around 4th of july and want cummins to be all beefy and stout.

so what i want to know from everyone here is if you had $1600.00 to spend, what would you get? (not a tranny cause that will come later on)

so this truck is %100 stock.

what i had in mind was:

DDP stage 3 injectors
Shorty cold air intake cone
Denny T stage 2 fuel pin
3200 governor spring

now that's just what i think would be good but im not sure, because i don't know all the little in's an out's of turbos. Now if i do get a upgraded turbo i want it to bolt on and easy, just no crazy fab work. now i will be running 4' down pipe to a strait pipe.

the turbo i seem to see allot about is s300 but there are different sizes and what not and im just lost. im open to what ever turbo, so any help from yall would be great.

this is one of those times when you can use yalls experience and help out with upgrades you should have done.

well ill be waiting and when i hear the right combo of stuff im gonna order so thanks again.

!!!!!!!!! also if someone could explain the whole measuring or size of injectors along with there input that would super helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People with mild stuff like your plans run a hx35 off a 2nd gen with a 16cm exhaust housing to help on egt's. I wouldn't bother with that small air filter n just get a bhaf you'll thank me in the long run. If it were my choice I'd go hx40 with a 14cm exhaust housing that has a t3 turbo flange. Though for that you need a 4" DP with a 4" vband clamp on it instead of a 3" vband clamp.

OH also gauges gauges gauges. Atleast get a pyro and boost, If your running an auto you'll need a trans temp also.
