So I went to cummins and got LP for my 96 and it was 90 bucks then went to get low presure pump for the 92 and they want 256 only one on shelf gave them the right part number and all. So I had to walk away from that!!! what vendors here offer that pump? Not the gold dipped 256 pump from cummins either!!!!!!

 

Everything from Cummins is gold-plated.

$256 isn't all that bad considering those piston pumps will last forever and a day.

 

Are the 2nd gen LP a piston style as well? Or diaphram?

I have about 50 each in stock on all three.

If you gave them original part number for the truck, it will be a non piston style.

 

Thanks but I checked this too late went ahead and got the OEM. Does the piston style flow more gph than the OEM?
