hx35 pro's and con's
I did injectors first, drove it a few weeks, and now just finished the turbo.
I felt the '93 was short on fuel from the get-go... my '90 non-IC spoils me with bigger injectors and smaller turbo. So it only made sense to throw more fuel at it first.

Hey Guys...thought I'd jump on this wagon rather than start a new post....
I too am looking to ramp up the stock motor....I have already done the pump turning,
I am looking for what injectors to swap in and Turbo to upgrade to....I am looking for around 100hp increase over all....My motor is getting swapped into a 65 Ford crew cab 4x4, and it will be a daily driver and tow rig....I am sticking a Clark 5 speed behind it, so power won't be an issue thru the trans....
I am thinking HX40 Turbo...Is my stock turbo t3 or T4.....?
with the HX40, what would be the best bet on injectors....?
I will be running 4" exhaust as well...

I am looking for what injectors to swap in and Turbo to upgrade to....I am looking for around 100hp increase over all....My motor is getting swapped into a 65 Ford crew cab 4x4, and it will be a daily driver and tow rig....I am sticking a Clark 5 speed behind it, so power won't be an issue thru the trans....

i really liked my WH1c. made good power down low, you werent going to win any races with it but it was great for a mild build engine. i have nothing bad to say about it really. good cheap upgrade over the H1C
WH1C/HX35 56/58/12
HX40 60/65/16 laggier but will support more up top
an HE351 60/60/9
and i ran 5x.012's for a long time with the stock turbo had no problem clearing them up. temps were well into the safe zone

not compared to a h1c and i think maybe its a 21cm??? no quotes there. the h1c suck all the way around anything is an upgrade, 40's have weak shafts and a prone to break if you bark them. the 35's break to0 but not as often.
