it takes a good amount of forethought and planning to pull off those kind of maneuvers. im not a gambling man so i get too nervous doing those kinds of things. but when it pays off you can sit down have a beer and pat yourself on the back hahaha

From all the research I have done, the list I came up with is:

P-pump (180hp and 215hp are the best for modding)
Timing gear case and cover (P-Pump mount different than the VE)
P-Pump Gear
Injector lines & injector return line
2nd Gen Injectors (if your VE engine is factory inter cooled then the 2nd gens will work fine. If the engine is not factory inter cooled you will need 9mm to 7mm injector spacers. I have seen them for sale on a few sites.)
2nd Gen lift pump and filter (if you prefer to use a stock type setup)

Now I am installing this engine in a 82 Chevy K-30 so I am not positive if the 1st gen Dodge throttle cable will work with it. You will need to do some wiring on the shutoff valve as well. Not sure what compared to the VE pump.

That is most everything I have found was needed to do the swap. It is a pretty straight forward swap. The cam has to come out to swap the timing cover so if you want any upgrades now is the time to upgrade the cam.

How much is the cost of all that?
Are u better off getting a ppump 12v?
I know u can get ve trucks for 4k or less but I cant hardly find a ppump truck under 8 or 9k

I got a whole setup to do the swap for just over $1000. So in my eyes I could have got a P-pumped engine already for a little less than everything I spent. But I knew if I were to do that I probably wouldn't have gotten my money back on the first engine.
You don't have to buy a P-Pump truck to get it. You can find engines on CL all day. Or just convert yours. Like I said mine will go into a Chevy to I just needed an engine.
