If b&m's directions are anything like transgo's you're probably missing something... Transgo had two steps that needed to be done at the same time on two different pages with umpteen different "exceptions" (do this but don't do that, if you have this then do that) I was quite paranoid when it was said and done. Do you have the kickdown set correctly? I know before I started turning the juice to my truck you used to have to roll into it hard and bring your foot off the pedal for it to hit 2nd, it'd hang there otherwise. Proper valve body identification is key man... To my knowledge no one makes a 727 specific vb.

Another thing, you sure your fluid is full? These things are pigs when it comes to fluid. Get if full once you'll have to top it off another 3 times .
