Sled pulling
I figured out what screwed up in my hub. It may have been my error during reassemble. Put the Teflon ring in backwards. Only got 30* of rotation before the hub "stuck" then I had a friend get on it with a big set of channel locks which then subsequently slipped the ring and pretty much fubarred it. Kid I know works at a machine shop, he's going to try and get two made out of steel or aluminum.

yeah i know what ya mean... they dont even make a screw that "retains" the cap to the bolt on hub piece. i tried finding one a few years ago. funny thing is; the bolt that holds your windo crank handle to the crank is the same thread pitch, all you have to do is grind the threads off of the first 5/16th of the end and its about the closest thing you can get to a replacement. if i can get some made and as long as they arent buko bucks i'll get 4 made and keep in touch with ya bobby. i have to get the original back from the kid... havent heard anything from him in 2 days now. he means well, but all talk apparently.

Pulled again last night, lock out on the passenger side failed this time... I'm just gonna have a solid slug made to bolt to the hub and tie the axle shaft to the hub. Then when I'm not running 4wd I'll have a normal plate to cover the bearings. Atleast until I feel like paying buko bucks for an updated hub swap. No junk yards around here have a dodge D60. I've read a SRW chevy D60 hubs are the same as the dodge. Yards around here are loaded with chevy stuff.
