was looking for some new rubber and found these tires 305/70R16 BACKBONE 2 M/T (D) | Retread tires | Cheap truck tires | TreadWright

anyone have these? anybody heard anything about them? i have done some research and have heard nothing BUT GOOD about them. i know theyre retreads and all but just looking for some kind of answer.

Retreads are awful to balance, only time I know people run retreads are for seasonal use, like they need a set of cheap winter tires and quick. They don't last long either.

tireman what do you mean re-caps on pick ups? and so they wouldnt be suggested for normal use?

 

Retreads are popular for tractor trailers. Large fleets run re treads to save money, most owner operators won't run retreads and I believe it's illegal to use retread on the steer axle... If that tells you anything
