Default Finally Finished My Intake

The only thing that's stock about it is what's left of the original air box:

There's been like 5 different mods to this system since I got the truck four years ago. Started with a bigger opening in the front valence and a inlet scoop:

Then came enlarging that and a bigger cold air tube. Then the BHAF mod.

I was finally able to get it to run totally unrestricted (filter minder never budges) going 5" from the BHAF stuffed in there to the turbo and adding another inlet to the box from back up in the top of the fender.

looks great bud.....very similar to mine other than I switched places tween the battery and the filter so I could get up front with the cool air

I'm pretty sure the 4" hole from the airbox through the stock corrugated rubber hose to the turbo was a big part of the problem. It showed half less travel on the Filterminder after I replaced that with the 5" aluminum tubing and 45deg elbows.

It takes alot of air for these things to breathe properly.
