TPS is the throttle position sensor, something you dont need on first gens.

Its the THROTEL POSITION SENSOR.

thats right. when you disable the tps, it kills the "inteligence" to allow
an upshift out of od when you romp on it. good side is that it wont
upshift on a dyno run or track pass.

It's the Throttle posistion sensor, that tell's tranny when to shift.

Only for overdrive the other three gears are hydraulic not electronic.

Why are you guy's paying $35.00 for somthing you can make for about $6.00?
I found a tread on it or a sticky I can't remember which took 20 min to make it and install it.

cuz i charge more than $35/hr labor rate.
if you include the parts cost, it doesnt
pay for me to make the part.

I bought one too....

I Charge 45.00 an Hr... So buying one and taking the 15 mins to install it was Money well spent...

I took a 6 hr Road trip.... unit Worked AWESOME.....I found that with mine at 1 o-clock it shifts perfect for me....
