Has anyone ever tried the 330 hp injector for marine, reason I ask, is the spray pattern better the the wild 370 injectors.

I have injection pump 3960900 this is a 24v switch pump, I'm going to take off the 24v solenoid and put on my 12volt, then put in a 3200 rpm spring along with the fuel pin.

here are the specs on this pump

governed HP: 160 at 2600
HIGH IDLE: 2950@50
Peak Power: 160
governor break RPM: 2640

just thinking with the 330 hp injectors and this pump with the 3200 spring and pin, will this be a good idea?

well I,m going to try it anyways, I will post all documents,and paper work on my findings.


will be doing it in 3 weeks time, looking for a good fuel pin.

I'm also thinking that I will not need the 3200 spring, because the top rpm are at 2950

 

They are VCO vs micro-blind, but they still have the same 155° angle.

 

would the 330 or 370's work good in the 89 motor its 155° right? are 370's 5x14?
