Thanks. I REALLY need to get the boost down. Wonder how much a pain its gonna be to adjust the rod.

Its not bad if you have an air compressor. Just pull the c clip on the rod to the gate, then gently apply air pressure to the wastegate actuator to release the tension on the rod and remove it. IIRC you want to lengthen the rod to reduce boost, so I would go, say 3 complete turns and reinstall. Should get you down around 45 or so.

rswords, roughly how much do u think u will be putting to the wheels with that turbo and what size injectors are u running?

he is running some pretty big sticks for what i remember, there is a thread around here somewhere when he got them...there from coaltrain diesel...i would say he with the turbo sticks, and tq converter he is getting close to 400 maybe

Yeah I'm thinking maybe 400 at the wheels right now, needs some tunning it has some more in it.

for how hard he's fueling... he's got plenty of fuel so now that he's actually pushin more air for ti to burn more completely... i'm sure he saw a pretty big increase in performance

Custom 6x16's, 2nd gen injectors wont work in a 1st gen. You can get 2nd gen tips put on 1st gen bodies and get the pop pressure set. I still have alot of tuning to do to the truck, needs ALOT more timing.

how much more timing can you put to the old girl? anymore and you'll have to notch the head for the AFC housing speakin of timing... how much can you run and still be streetable and not hard on things and or still spraying in the bowl?
