Stuff Is Falling Off My truck Again, This Time it's The Turbo
STOP BOBBY!!!! every time you post this crap up it makes me want to go out and spend more money on my 1st gen......by the time i get it done ill have more in it than my p-pump truck......ball bearing turbo, 4 inch exhaust, dang i dont need to spend any more money

And parts are cheaper. You can get that edge turbo (which comes with a down pipe) and 4" exhaust for under a grand... You cant beat that!
Got to work on the truck some more today and I got the Exhaust on and turbo mounted...

Had to clearance the fire wall a little with the sledge hammer for the 2nd gen 4" HX40 style down pipe to fit

The expandit exhaust I got from Diesel Dawgs has a 3-1/2" Down pipe. Since I used the 4" 2nd gen I cut off the adapter as well as a short piece of the down pipe and joined them with a short piece of flex pipe.

Then it was just a matter of putting the pieces together. The kit went together VERY easy. It fits PERFECT!!!
Here is the 4" pipe going past the Transfer Case

I used band clamps (you can see them in the flex pipe pics) instead of the U-Bolt clamps that come with it. this will make it easier to take apart in the future. I used the u-bolt clamps that came with it for the hangers.

I used the stock hanger for the tail pipe. I just drilled a hole in the pipe and put the bolt through.

Again... VERY smooth install!
I would HIGHLY recommend this system to anyone who wants a better exhaust for there truck!

I did do most of it laid on my back though. Wouldn't be that hard.
