did you grind the factory pin? you can only go so far with the factory pin... an aftermarket pin is much more aggressive but a ground stock pin does just fine to satisfy your need of fuel until you get a new precision cut pin

I did grind the factory pin and didn't get much.. so I pulled out a nice hard round rod and turned it down, then ground the profile I liked into it, bolted it up and away I went!

any of you guy try running it without the pin, i had my truck like that for a long time i just put a bolt in the diaphram and put it back in, wow what a difference and just so u guys know no the delivery pin cant fall out it is attatched to a lever and it is'nt mutch different then runnin a m&h 5 or a denny t 2 the delivery pin stops about a 1/8 from the chamber wall, the only ill effect that i notice was after about a week i noticed the relief tube on the top of the pump was weeping a little

The pin will travel farter then the seal. that is were the fuel is coming from.

Piers diesel PDR has a pin that is cut "deaper then the denny t II its the factory pin machined but looks clean ....doesnt wear $75 us
