just pulled injectors and put them back in coming up with code
Hi guys I have started a thread in the broke down truck help section and im opening one her also. I have the truck at home finally. I put head studs and valve springs in my 07 5.9 and an air dog 150. I been having a problem with the truck sense Ive done the work. When it warms up it throws a code of p0148 and runs like hell. Seems to be loaded way up and no power. Smokes black at idle. In the morning the truck starts right up and no problems. It runs good and doesnt really smoke at all when at stock. After the truck warms up it loses all power and hazes black at an idle. It throws the code and all power goes away. Im not sure if its in the connector tube nuts because I only torqued them down to 24ftlbs and I see that they are soppose to be at 37 ftlbs. I was going to take the top end apart again and see if I hurt any injector or somthing. Also I didnt grease up the o rings in the injectors. I had diesel on them and made the wrong call on that. So any info would be greatly apprecited. The truck is at the house but cant be run . Thanks

Hi guys i went threw all the work that i did and found that I had to reroute the return line for the airdog and I had a loose fuel line on the #4 cyl. I went and started back to the beginning and just checked all of the things it could of been. So all in all I rerouted the return line for the airdog and tightened down the nuts for the connector tubes and the fuel line. So everything is running good and I dont have anymore codes and it runs good when it warms up.
