Default 06 Injector Rattle

My 06, lightly modded (rok CPS set to stock, PPE fuel pump). Replaced an injector last Sep. due to a high ohm reading. Up to today, still starts and runs great, no white smoke or rough idle, but I'm getting injector rattle. Mileage is still in the high teens. Is it lack of fuel volume/pressure, FCA issue, or injectors again?

do you have any way to see the rail pressure on it? a sticky FCA could be giving it too much rail pressure and giving you alot of rattle

I'm kinda thinking maybe that's what it is. Couple weeks after I replaced the lift pump and injector, it wouldn't hardly move out of it's own way when cold (around 30F). As soon as the engine warmed up a little, it has power up the wazoo, just like when I first drove it home. Forward to today, EZ unhooked, rok CPS still at stock, I hit around 2 grand on the tachometer, and it sounded like someone threw pea graver at a tin building.

hum in gear at anything over 50% throttle at 2000rpm the ecm should be commanding near max rail pressure anyways so that makes me wonder, it would be nice if you had another fca to try but i'm guessing if you did that you would have already done that. do you have a buddy close to you that you could swap fca's with one day just to see if it makes any difference?

Are you sure your valve lash is within specs?

What about double checking all your injector hold down brackets?

Do you run a fuel additive routinely?

Doing all three of the above greatly quieted down my motor

My valves are in spec, not running a tuner, and I alternate between Diesel Kleen and WalMart synthetic two-stroke oil every other tank full. My truck is currently bone-stock with 83K on the clock. I have injector rattle as well, but the truck starts quickly, runs great, and is getting decent mileage. No smoke, and it's not "making oil". I'm guessing I'll live with the rattle. BTW, I have a close friend with an 05 and his has been rattling for 210K so far (original injectors).
