06 Injector Rattle

ok, stupid question. what does an injector rattle sound like? my step dad has an 07 5.9auto, when he is sitting in gear there is like a faint tick but as soon as he lets off brake or acceleration it stops, truck runs like a rapped ape. should he be concerned?

As far as my truck, I replaced the FCA and that help out a bunch. Throttle response it normal (hauls **** with the Edge EZ on level 1). That rattle issue went away, runs quieter down the road.
