I always find it really funny how in the diesel mags a get all the sled are usually cummins powered trucks with the occasional d-max or stroke in there....Thunder In Muncie Sled Pull - Diesel Power Magazine

I still see more D-max's than powerchokers.

any pointers please let me know
First off, Don't buy banks, the price is a rip off for what you get. A good exhaust either straight pipe it or go with MBRP. And a better exhaust manifold because the ones on our 3rd gens like to crack.

Second, Air and Fuel. A good cold air intake, intake mainfold, Airdog 150 lift pump, Bigger injectors, and a PPE Dual CP3 kit is very nice to have.

Third, Build the Tranny. Dave Goerend Goerend Transmission Incorporated - St. Lucas, Iowa

Fourth, Get yourself a bigger turbo, by now your stocker will start to run a bit hot.

Then Finally, Programmer. Since you have an 07 5.9, we are blessed with EFI live, get someone to tune your truck with it and you will have a powerhouse that will smoke, get good MPG's and sit your *** back in your seat when you goose on it.
