Max boost pressures with a Smarty JR?
Thinking I may have an issue...what kind of boost pressures should I see with a Smarty Jr on SW#2 (the 70HP setting, TQ set at stock, timing at default)?
I changed monitors from a BullyDog Outlook to a new Edge Insight CS, and I'm seeing less pressure now. I also had the boost referencing done at the same time, and initially thought that might have caused my problem...but adjusting the waste gate netted me absolutely no change. I popped a PO234 (over boost code) the other day, but it hasn't returned in over 1500 miles of driving.
My EGTs are borderline...towing EGTs are actually cooler (even under WOT runs) than unloaded. Unloaded I can touch 1350*F, between shifts. So I'm not sure if that's a deal with boost or not...from what I've read it should be cooler than that.
The only other thing is that boost seems to top out (about 36.0 psi) at the same time the MAP sensor tops out (around 50)...which I assume they are read from the same sensor?
