Default turbo upgrade

i know this beating a dead horse on this topic but looking to upgrade my turbo but dont have the funds to spend $1400, i was told i could upgrade the housing ect. for around $400 is that true? if so where could i find said parts. ive already got fuel,rail pressure,boost,pyro gauges, bag o parts, bd lift pump, smarty, intake, and valair clutch, and lookin to upgrade headstuds also to be on the safe side.

I guess it could be done you would just have to find what compressor wheel and housing would be compatible with the stocker I would say like a 35/40 hybrid but I think the 40 uses a bolt on housing but it would be something to look into
