If you're running heavy tuning with bigger injectors, and upgraded turbo would be the first step and would help to burn the extra fuel and keep EGT's down.

Also an upgraded intercooler and maybe even water injection are other options to play around with, but I think the turbo would be the real fix.

How high are your EGT's, and under what circumstances?

My EGTs are running over 1250 pulling a 2000 pound trailer up hill at 70 mph and if I really get on it from a stop. The programmer will defuel at 1250.

Yeah 2k's not all that much weight

Might look into a 62/65 or 62/68 for an upgrade.

Why not water-meth injection (minus the meth) to help cool it down?

I mentioned water injection earlier. It would be the cheapest fix, but I think a turbo would be the best fix.
