i recently bought a 03 cummins ho and i want to mod it a bit to get all i can out of it without doing engine mods for now what would be the best way to go opinions please.

 

Smarty, CAI, muffler delete, gauges

should be good for 450+rwhp and cost around $1000... transmission wont hold tho

 

what tranny would b best for upgrade with that or could i just beef up my tranny ?? and thanks for the input

As for the trans, you could put a better converter and Valvebody upgrade, but the bands will go and so will the input-shaft at that power level

You best to spend the cash and build the trans right, and for that I would think Goerand Bros.
