Got my Smarty today, thanks to Diesel Pap at mighty Diesel. Ordered on Tuesday Recieved on Friday.

I have it on #3, and cant wait to take her for a trip and see how it will affect my milage

get rid of the K&N Try #5 at 75 POD Best milage with your setup! Just watch your foot until you get a TQ and VB for the tranny at a minimum!

 

Ill play it safe for now on #3 smarty says thats highest safe lvl for stock auto tranny. Not that I wont get the itch to bump it up later .

No one seems to like the K-n-N filter. Are they that bad or are other products just noticably better?

 

Some people don't like the K&N Filters. While I am not a big fan of them I have not had any issues with them in the past. Just keep it oiled.

 

OK so far I seem to be getting about 3 mpg better milage accordint to the lie-o-meter, I had to tow my little trailer to the dump though and that hurt the average.

Let me know how you like it Seaurchin. I just received mine last friday as well. i have it on #3 also, because of everything being stock. i think I will play it safe as well and keep it there cause all of my truck is stock with 77000 miles on it. Dont wanna tear it up too darn quick!

 

My buddy gets the best highway mileage with the smarty on level 7. I dont know how different it is with an 06 though.
