Im having a problem with my smarty senior. My buddy wanted to try it out on his truck. He has a 2006 with the CTD. I downloaded it off my truck that I run it on (truck in my sig) completely back to stock sw. But when I go to upload it to his, it keeps saying "ERROR UNKNOWN SOFTWARE". I don't know if that means it's still vin locked to my truck or what, but it shouldn't be. Any help would be great. Thanks!

 

Can you put it back on your truck?

 

your probably gonna have to update it on the smarty web site before you can put it on his truck because of some updates on the new trucks ecm's.... im pretty sure anyone correct me if im wrong..

 

Update it and you should be fine
