Default Cummins Exhaust (Cat/Muffler Delete)

Just recently bought an 06 mega cab. Bout to go knock off the muffler and cat and i dont have my shop anymore for my DIY stuff. When i had my 96 Cummins it cost about $50 from the local shop but that was a few years ago. What would be an acceptable price range?

Call and find out shop rates. But don't expect them to do the cat. Illegal for them to remove it permanetly.

i took my muffler off and put a piece of flexpipe in its place and it cost me like 40 bucks for teh pipe and clamps combined. its not hard you can do it in your driveway or where ever just get a saw-zall cut the muffler and cat out and put flexpipe in aint that hard to do

go to like a big truck shop they would have it and everything you would need like clamps and such. the flex pipe on mine sounds good i think but i still have my cat till my tbe exhaust comes. the only time its loud is when you go trough an under pass or somethin. it works for a temp. fix till you get some coin for a real exhaust

Agreed. Heck of a drone. I put a high flow back on. It's tolerable now.

i would cut the muffler off and leave cat on the sound good that way or put a high flow muffler on it.
