Default Air Dog Question...

What would be the best replacement for a FASS 95/150? The truck is stock except for a smartyJR and 40hp tips...not ever going bigger.

I'm thinking the 100gph AD would suit my purposes just fine?

I also don't want to mod the tank (i.e. no drawstraw), but I see this required...I don't have the in-tank pump, and the FASS used the factory module.

Any help would be appreciated. My FASS died yesterday, and has been giving me trouble for a while...been trying to deny it was the pump itself, but it appears the motor burnt up yesterday...2000 miles from home. Going to limp back to PA, or at least try to, without a lift pump...

2000 miles plus, made it home without issue. Nothing notable changed with/without the lift pump...truck ran absolutely fine.

What?! Your truck should not run without the lift pump The AD 100 will be plenty as well

Run? Well, yeah...but for how long without a lift pump??

How many other CR Cummins owners do you know that just laid 2k miles out on a CP3 with a failed lift pump?? Probably not many (that knew it anyhow).

Keep in mind, I'm talking about a FASS...your talking about the OE filter-mounted pump.

Apples to oranges since the "new" FASS will bypass fuel if it fails, unlike the OE filter-mounted pump. Probably would find similar situation as my FASS if you had the in-tank pump...

Reason #1 - because I don't want to install a draw straw.
