04.5 and newer have the electronic wastegate. I think that the j w/a does boost fooling. I see 40 psi with mine on 3 at 80 or so MPH...

just dont do the tap like a guy i know did (without consulting me for help first)

he drilled a 1/2" hole in his CAST manifold then welded the autometer NPT fitting to the hole... it leaked from 72 places around the bung, and looked like chit

I have the Edge Juice WAM on my 06,

I run the alert set @ 40 and the boost limit set @ 38, been this way for over 15k miles.

Anything over 38 lbs of boost and the turbo will start generating it's own heat.

BTW I run most of the time on level 3, the trans seems just fine.

That's exactly just about what I've decided. Just stick w/ Level 3 and only play on 4-5 on special occasions.

Thanks for the info everyone!!! I've learned a ton just now!!

That's what I do. Mine is hot, and I can roll some smoke if I put it on 5 and get on it. Not good for the stock tranny though. Enjoy that thing, I'm having a ball with mine...

Same with me. I set mine on 3-3 and the boost alarm at 40 and it still goes off at WOT. I'm pretty ez on it now but tranny upgrades are next, until then....

btw -> The turbo on a '06 is a HE351

Thanks, Hut... Yeah, mine still goes off at WOT I found out this morning.

I don't think I'm quite ready to take the plunge on tranny upgrades. They'll come someday, but not now.

i would start putting $5 a week in the tranny fund...my buddy ran a smarty on 130hp then dropped to 90hp and the tranny went BOOM in less than 3 months.

just got it back last night from the dealer, they only gave him a new one because they didnt detect any performance upgrades
