Default jake brake help !!!!!

so i have this nagging idea about putting a hall sensor and custom wheel at the crank and have it trigger a solenoid or something to open an exhaust valve, my question is how !EXACTLY! do i stop injection to the one cylinder

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

So what are you doing this for? (You just want to kill one cylinder?)

(You already have a tone wheel on the crank. You could either use the OEM CPS or just add another one next to it. . . . Also, you know you are dealing with 2 valves per cylinder? If you could somehow 'remove' the bridge from the rocker, you could use a different design to open both valves.)

I looked quite a bit for an engine brake for these 5.9L Cummins and came to the conclusion that there isn't one. . . .

There is new true engine brake for 5.9l cummins. You could call jakebrake. But i think the 8.3l cummins is the smallest you can go but it might be worth a shot.

I have the Jacobs on my '06!

(But it is an exhaust brake and they don't make an engine brake for the little 5.9L I tried to get one as I would really like to have one!)
