Not looking for power, just something louder than stock exhaust wise... but dont want to **** off my neighbors or anything.

I was thinking of leaving cat in place, and stock x" pipe, and just use the MBRP muffler delete.

Has anyone heard the CTD this way? does it make it sound too raspy or is it good?

I left my cat on due to my truck being under warranty still but I put on a 4" magnaflow cat back kit and it sounds great. When I give it some throttle it sounds awesome but still retains a semi-stock sound when cruising. Some people say the magnaflow has drone but i haven't really noticed it on mine. I thought of doing the delete as well but I also didn't want it to be ridiculous either. I pull a trailer quite a bit & didn't want it to be to loud under a load. It's not crazy expensive either! us know what you go with!

 

i'm rolling a gutted cat with no muff and the truck is load!

sooner or later i'll upgrade to a larger pipe from the turbo back.

 

5" Turbo Back with a Muffler..... then if you want it louder straight pipe it.
