i changed the oil ~500 miles after the new block was installed.

might wait for a new exhaust manifold before i put the 62 back on.

open to offers.

sorta sad that i have a nice turbo and a new set of injectors with 90hp nozzles just sitting in the garage.

the phat shaft 62 with a smarty s06 on level two should be a safe setup?

Question, Is the increase in performance a phat shaft 62 gives, worth the cost over a stock turbo? I understand the larger housing and the LDP 71mm wheel will flow more, but the compressor is only 2mm bigger. Not much of an increase.

Not that I'm saying that a s300 isn't better than an he351, I'm just curious why you went with a 62 as opposed to a 64 or 66.

well i'm not him but i went with a HTB2 62/65/12 because i live at over 5000k feet in elevation, it's a little bit bigger than stock and the boost psi really isn't much more than stock either, but i can run at a higher egt safer, and it spools faster than stock and the amount of volume it flows over stock is way higher, PSI doesn't equal volume, sure i'd hit 45 on the stock he351, but at that level of boost it was just pushing hot air with the HTB2 i'll run that boost and not be pushing hot air, and it'll make a great top turbo in a compound setup at this elevation

Doh! just realized he has a phat shaft and not a super phat shaft

but at that level of boost it was just pushing hot air with the HTB2 i'll run that boost and not be pushing hot air, and it'll make a great top turbo in a compound setup at this elevation
Trust me, An HTB2 at that boost pressure is pushing a lot of hot air too.
