I finally drove the truck for more than 2 miles and got up to highway speeds.
my water temp says it was at 2 degrees and never moved? wtf

when I got in the parking lot the truck idled at around 800 rpms. so that was good. But it jumps around from 7-800 and idles rough. I put it on level 0 and there was no change.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

should I install my fuel pressure kit?

I figured out the idle problem. the problem was also why my water temp was wrong.
My wire tap on the map sensor wire was not making a good connection. so now it purrs like a kitten

a bad ground on the harness will give crazy readings and also feed voltage back into the wires you tapped into causing engine codes... But good you got it all straightened out. My egt alert is at 1300 defuel at 1400 and boost defuel at 36. You should install the fuel pressure kit as you will prob drain your supply pressure(not rail) to your CP-3 depending on what you have on your truck. If you update your sig. with the mods on your truck it will help out with questions like this so everyone knows what you are running.
