How is the Amsoil filter for the wet weather? I run a AFE with a prefilter to help with the wet weather. I had thought about measuring up to see if one of the Amsoils would fit in my AFE housing as a replacement or even just when I want to clean my AFE filter. I was surious if the Amsoil flowed better air than the AFE especially if I would not need the prefilter..
Prefilter also helps keep the filter cleaner so you don't have crap lodged way down in the grooves that is hard to get out.

Looks like a good setup... Jeff

I use an Amsoil 6081 on my AFE stg2, it is much smaller than the AFE PG 7 but it seems to flow at least as well as the thick oiled afe filter.

I still use the afe prefilter with it because of I think it helps with the road grime and moisture that does get blown in through the hood seam.

I'll get some pictures on here if ya like
