Great looking installs there, guys. BTW, it is not a mass air flow sensor (gasser), it is an air temp sensor.

The moisture issue doesn't seem to affect the Nanofiber material like it would affect paper filters. CFM testing at AMSOIL with an Outerwears wrap did show that airflow was reduced with the prefilter on. The more stuff you pass air through, the slower the air moves.

Ok, so question time,

If one was to build a set of twins could you not consider the PVC as an alternative to the tin pipe for the plumbing? Sure you would want to insulate it etc. but the standard torque tube for AFE or any others are made of plastic so that would work right?

Just a thought as I want to build or buy a balanced set of twins for my truck but I'm really not interested in getting rid of the stage 2 box for the filter housing. Everyone says it hasn't been done but is that because no one has tried or because it simply won't work?
