Default Vulcan Draw Straw

does anyone have a vulcan draw straw with an airdog? i have a airdog in my 2002 and used the draw straw supplied from air dog and i dont like it. when i get to 1/4 tank fuel starts sloshin an i loose fuel pressure since its suckin air and the rubber grommet that holds the straw in place is all torn up and it leakes from the top of the tank when i fill up. i just ordered a airdog for my 2006 and dont want these problems and i need to fix my 2002 at the same time so i was wondering if anyone had any input on this product?? does it work well? how big of a pain in the a$$ was it to install? is there a better product or an alternative? every little bit of info helps

Its the best aftermarket replacement pickup tube on the market. No more 1/4 tank fuel issues, and when installing a Airdog or Fass system you don't have to cut the filler neck for the return line. The Draw Straw returns the fuel back into the module.

Worse part is dropping the fuel tank.

Drop the tank a little and disconnect the fuel lines from the sender and the electrical connection. When you drop the tank gut the stock fuel pump as you will see the housing is adjustable. The trick is cutting the draw straw to fit when you push the housing back into the tank! Cut a few v's in the bottom of the straw so you will suck fuel down to the very last bit! Mine works great! Oh Drill a hole in the top of the housing where the stock pickup is big enough to hold the grommet you will have to remove a little of the grommet from the inside so it is flush! You'll see what I mean when your in there! Call me if you have questions! 858-395-8289 Andy
