Has any one installed the fass 95 series in other locations than the recommended location?

 

There was a truck in Diesel Power mag. that had a FASS mounted off the Transfer case but I like mine mounted on the outside driver side frame rail, makes filters changes a breeze. I've also seen them mounted in the bed but that was on race trucks that also had fuel cells.
