The 610 series motors will make 45 psi plus at 3200 rpm's if you block the WG. Functional range is about maxxed at 40 but they will spin to 50 if you want. It should be hitting about 32 psi then settling around 30 psi stock. Thats what my 05 did and a lot of 06's I have seen.

Ok, thats why then. If it will keep pulling the CEL is not going to hurt anything.

Well did a deep scan and nothing showed up cleared the codes and unclamped boost hose and now truck is running pretty good. i got on it pretty hard and my boost went to about 30-32 and backed down right away to 25-27 and held there so the problem must be gone. i will be getting a boost fooler and see it that helps some and then like i said in a couple months will be adding a smarty. Thanks for all the help guys

Yep, that sounds normal. Could have been codes form earlier issues that was interfering or just an anomaly. The BF is going to give you more boost across the board and help with the EGT's even stock. It will make adding fuel much more effective. For the $70 its the cheapest most effective mod you can do.

we also found out the other day when the truck did not start again that one of my batteries was different then the other. one was a 650cca and the other was a 850cca so i ended up replacing them both and it seems to run a little better now too.gotta love buying a used truck huh?

Well guys got the boost fooler in and holly hell what a difference. i really romped on it and my boost shot way up and held at 38. also i did notice pulling the other day a better response and seemed to pull a bit better and also my egt's were down about 100-150 then what they usually were. so once again thanks for the info and now im just waiting and saving for the smarty

sounds like you got good gains, good candidate for a boost fooler. Fill in your signature, it will help others.
