Default Water Pump

My water pump is starting to drip, so i think its time to replace it. Whats a good brand to go with? I found one on Geno's for $40 made by Gates, does anyone know if thats a good brand it seems really cheap to me in price. Also will i have to remove my fan to replace the pump?

No you don't need to tear anything off to replace it. Just a couple bolts. Drain the hoses, unscrew, put the new one on, and rescrew, fill her up, get the air out of the head, and you are good to go.

Easiest part to change! Belt, 2 bolts done! Don't forget the o-ring should come with it but ask to be sure!

Its easier to get out if you remove the top passenger bolt from the fan shroud, it allows the fan shroud to collapse and lets you pull the pump out easier.

Took me about an hour being careful (in a hotel parking lot). I'm running a pump from Autozone, but I also have a Bosch spare behind the seat.
