I just installed a new AFE Stage II intake kit on my truck and also removed the silencer ring on the turbo as well. I took it for a test drive and I can't believe the difference in the sound of the intake!! I love the way the turbo sounds without all the stuff in front of it. I hope that this setup works as good as it sounds.

Same here. I love the whine of the turbo. When I first removed the ring, I wasn't sure I could stand the whine. Now, it's cool....
