Default In need of some help/advice...

2003 Dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel runnin on 6 brand new OEM fuel injectors... While I'm driving maintaining a constant speed, my engine cuts out and sputters back to life after a couple of seconds. no check engine light but I have a code of P 0524, I went and wiggled wires by the trucks computer and erased the code to see if it would come back. It still cuts out frequently but now I have different codes which are P 2121 & P 2122. The origional P 0524 code is gone but now I have these codes and I still have the same problem of the engine cutting out and sputtering back to life as before.. I am not the smartest tool in my pappy's shed when it comes to Cummins Diesel, but I would most definitely appreciate any help and advice I can get... Thank You in advance!!

The 2121 is the pedal position sensor performance rationality and the 2122 is pedal position sensor low.Check the plug at the sensor. Hope this helps

When you say the plug by the sensor, where exactly are you referring to? I looked up all the codes earlier today and found out what all they mean but I dont really know where to begin. I had erased the 0254 code thinking that if it would come back I would have something to work with but now that is gone and has been replaced by the other codes so I dont know if 1 code triggered the other or not. My Oil Level in the engine is showing normal on the dipstick. My Oil Pressure gauge in the dash goes to 45-60 if the accelerator is pressed (which is normal) buit if I let off the gas, it goes back down to around 23-35 which hasnt happer\ned before. It almost always stayed right around the 45-60 range...

In my opinion the low oil pressure code my have been present from an oil change in the past not sure how long the oil pressure has to be low to set the code. Are you having any other electrical anomalies? tach, gauges, indicator lights?
On the 1998.5 thru 2001 the apps is located on the left front of the engine block where the throttle cables run up to it, the plug is underneath the assembly. It has a plastic cover over it cant remember if the CR trucks are the same, sorry

Thanks for the reply Jet A Fuel. I have not noticed any other suspicious activity with any of the other gauges in the truck at all nor with the tach or indicator lights other than the Oil Pressure gauge. It use to stay right around 45-60 area but now it fluctuates between 35-65 depending if I let off or step on the accelerator. eg. if I let off the pedal, it comes down to @35, if I step on the pedal, it goes back up to 65.

My oil pressure idiot gauge doesn't have any numbers just high and low it moves up when driving and down when idling.Probably not a big deal. What kind of oil are you using?

The entire truck has been running on Amsoil ever since I 1st bought the truck. The previous owner used it as well. I change my oil & oil filter every 10,000 miles or so.. I am just curious as to why its cutting out on me while driving..??

Ok, I had my truck in the shop now for @ 3-4 days and the entire time they had it - nothing! everything ran superb.... no codes nothing. so we concluded that it might have been the fuel jelling up on us and throwing codes. Went to go pick up the truck yesterday, put on about 50 miles or so, came home and reinstalled my Edge w/ Attitude and drove approx 20 miles, filled up, added Standadyne fuel supplement, and pulled out of the gas station parking lot and stepped on the pedal to take off and the engine stalled on me completely, throwing 2 different codes. P 2146 & P 2149. anybody have any ideas at all??? I double checked ALL my wire harness connections on the Edge/Fuel Injectors and everything seems good. I'm at a complete loss for words... Anyhelp at all would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!
