Default Need some FASS answers

I have a HPLP on my truck. I was wondering if there was a way I could install an inline fuel particulate filter and then get rid of the bulky one I have. Then just patch the fuel line right into the CP3? If so, would i simply mount it next to the FASS and run the fuel line from there?

Another question is, the mechanic told me that the FASS pump had to have some sort of air hole facing a certain direction and that I needed to flip it over in the mounting bracket. Is this a real big concern and can it effect fuel travel?

Thanks in advance!

Does it allow you to take the fuel line straight to the CP3 instead of through the stock fuel filter housing?

Does it make sense to have the stock filter housing on the truck still? Im trying to figure out how to remove the stock fuel filter housing and run the fuel line from the tank, to the HPFP, to the 2mu filter, and the straight to the CP3. Do I loose some sort of fuel heater by taking out the stock fuel filter housing though? Or do you just take the fuel filter out of the stock housing so its not running through 2 fuel filters?
